Just an update: We're already nixed the "family nap" due to Joa being too squirmy and none of us getting any real reast with him in bed with us. What do you know? We didn't even have to wait until it wasn't cool anymore.
Well, I usually like to make my sunday's the most relaxing day of the week. It happens to be my day of rest, and doing whatever I feel like doing. Usually, I spend it with my best friend, Jessica.. but occasionally I stay home with the family and everyone just kind of relaxes and does anything they are in the mood for. I guess every Sunday there is a little change but generally it is some free nap time, music, games, long walks to nowhere and a few hours at the park.
Well, I usually like to make my sunday's the most relaxing day of the week. It happens to be my day of rest, and doing whatever I feel like doing. Usually, I spend it with my best friend, Jessica.. but occasionally I stay home with the family and everyone just kind of relaxes and does anything they are in the mood for. I guess every Sunday there is a little change but generally it is some free nap time, music, games, long walks to nowhere and a few hours at the park.
Oh, Debra, that believing it's not cool to cuddle happens way too soon!!
At 8, Aidan thinks he's way too cool for even good night kisses now. Although our bedtime routine has now become me trying to give him a good night kiss and him trying to push me away and us both giggling the whole time. So in an odd way, it's just another bonding moment for us.
Eli, on the other hand, we've decided I'll probably have to move to his dorm room with him in aother 12 years! He would have himself surgically implanted in my hip if we let him!

On Sundays, we get to spend time with our church family. Then, we go out to eat or eat in with my parents, sister and niece. When we get home, our favorite activity is what we call a "Family Nap." We all cuddle up together in our big bed and take a nap.
When we get up we eat again and either take a walk, a drive or go to the park. Our Sundays are pretty packed but taking that family nap is always such a treat. We plan to continue this tradition even with multiple kids. Well, at least until they start to believe its not cool to cuddle with mom and dad
Zillah still sleeps most of the day and I still can't sleep with her!
