The First Baby

As I prepare to welcome m new baby in to our family I am starting to get a little terrified of what is to come. My son will be 20 months when my little girl is born. There are many questions funning through my mind?

How can I help him embrace her?
Will I need to be paranoid about her safety around him? Will he be violent toward her even though he has never shown any signs of violence?
What will I do with him while I'm nursing her?
How can I make him feel loved and special while still getting to know and enjoy my baby girl?

So, I survived my son's first birthday. Hooray!

It was actually a lot of fun. He was happy fo rthe most part and our guests had a great time. I do not even want to add up all the receipts Undecided but its all behind us now.

I just wanted to share with everyone that for his birthday our gift to Joakim was to make him a Big Brother!!! I go to the DR tomorrow to find out how far along I am. We started trying at the end of October so I can't be too far along.
