Watching the news the other night, I saw a local story about a mom who wasn’t allowed to bring cupcakes in for her child’s birthday. Evidently cupcakes cause obesity and since childhood obesity is on the rise, the schools are doing their part to make sure you feed your child healthy food. I can’t help but wonder what that mom did with those cupcakes when she went home. I’ll bet that instead of eating just one cupcake with her class, the daughter ended up with a whole tray of cupcakes to eat. Congratulations government, another job well done!
