Our Youth in the Spotlight: Showcase #6

This weeks showcase is a story of an amazing 13 year old young lady who from a very young age has been touched with a talent that surpasses her peers. Akiane began drawing at 4, and painting at 6, teaching herself and learning mostly from her own keen observation and study. If that isn't fascinating enough this young lady speaks four languages including Lithuanian, Russian, English and Sign Language.

At age 7 this brilliant little girl began writing poetry and has already devoted her life to honoring God in her paintings and writing. She has been Selected as 1 of 20 most accomplished visual artists in the world by Tribute Entertainment (London) and ABI (United States), is a kids Hall of Fame Inductee and a published author, all accomplished by the age of 13

When I first saw Akiane's paintings I was in awe at the talent this young lady had with a paint brush. To discover that she is primarily self taught has me completely floored. Hands down Akiane deserves recognition for following her dreams and inspiring others around the world.
