My daughter aims to feed the homeless

I just wanted to share with everyone that Morgan has finally been able to move closer to her dream of feeding everyone who is homeless. She put together a cute little blog (so she can tell everyone about it) and we have put together our plan to help her extend love to everyone! Here is her little blog:
http://www.morgansmobilemeals.com/
It is small, and the adults of her life will be adding some fact pages for her but she has taken on this goal with smiles, determination and down right pushiness I might add Grin
Anybody that would like to help her spread the news feel free. I think building an audience that supports her will further encourage her to push through this. (of course she has not needed any encouragement so far, not my Morgan Tongue ) no but seriously her blog isn't up to make money, just to talk about what she is doing so you can follow her little posts if you like.
Thank you Elsie, I hadn't even considered the impact on her fears. That is a real possibility though, she will feel a great satisfaction in her ability to do something to bring joy to those she wants to help.
Thanks for your kind words.

Mikki-I am so happy she has a peer to brainstorm with, and selling hot chocolate is a fabulous idea! And maybe taking control like this and doing something to help others will help her feel more control over the state of the world as she sees the difference she can make. It also gives her something else to focus on besides her fears. Not sure if it will help, but I just think she's a great kid and I love that you're doing so much to support her in what she wants to do. That's good parenting!
Thank you JaMae,
I am thrilled to add that Morgan now has a new little helper. While we were at church yesterday I was talking with a friend about Morgan's efforts and she piped up and said, "Do you think Morgan will let my daughter help?" and I said she sure would.
Well this mom went up to ask Morgan and they went to her daughter together and before you know it these two little ladies were making plans. The other girl is 10, also a gifted child and these two have always gotten along well.
The beauty of adding this second little mind is - 1. Morgan has a peer to brainstorm with, making this more theirs and less mine (that's the best part!) and 2. this little girl brought things to the table Morgan (nor I) thought of, and that was to sell lemonade to earn money to buy the food! Since it is winter I suggested something more enticing and she shouts out, "HOT CHOCOLATE!"
I now have two very excited little girls reminding us grown ups out here to look outside our windows and help where we can! What an amazing heart they have!

This is a great story! I look forward to seeing how my little lady will do to be a humanitarian!
I think all children love to save animals. That's great that Morgan wants to save people too
Thank you Debra,
I am truly thrilled to see her enthusiasm and love for others around her. She is a great kid and has already put her trust in God for all things, even to help her feed people

Mikki - you must be so proud. I read her two entries and they are adorable. How inspiring.
