It snowed in our area of CA today!
Being long term Southern Californians we don't typically see snow where we live so this is a real treat! The kids went out last night when it started at 7pm and played until 8:30pm. The funny thing is how resourceful our children can be.
See we don't own boots or gloves, why would we need them right? But on nights like last night the thrill to play in the snow got my kids brains going! They pulled out a couple of jackets, dress boots that two of the girls had, large shoes and double socks for Aaron and Jessica, and my favorite invention - socks for the hands!!
They had a blast out there and plan to head out again this morning.

That is so funny! I can't even invent things like that, I would have had to make a special trip to the store! This year I am planning on introducing my lady to snow. I can't wait!
We've had a dusting here and there, but nothing serious yet. I have a friend that I've just reconnected with in Southern CA. I saw her snow pictures...It was crazy seeing palm trees in the snow.
We don't own boots or anything either, we just haven't had much of a winter since we've been here...We'll probably get slammed this year and have to invent on our own
That sounds like so much fun. We are enjoying 75 degree weather over here. Kinda jealous, actually! We can't wait to introduce Joa to snow.
